Barry joined OMAFRA in 1999 as a Northern Livestock Specialist. Prior to 1999 he worked in sales and marketing. He now works with researcher and northern economic development agencies to research, promote and develop value added products. He also writes articles and conducts workshops on livestock related topics. Currently he is working closely with Beef Farmers of Ontario on their beef expansion project, seeking to increase the number of beef cows in northern Ontario.

Barry s’est joint au personnel du MAAARO en 1999 à titre de spécialiste de l’élevage du bétail pour le Nord. Auparavant, il travaillait dans le secteur des ventes et du marketing. Il collabore maintenant aux activités de recherche, promotion et développement de produits à valeur ajoutée que mènent les organismes de recherche et agences de développement économique du Nord. Il rédige des articles et anime des ateliers sur l’élevage du bétail. Il participe actuellement au projet d’expansion de l’industrie du bœuf avec Beef Farmers of Ontario qui vise à accroître le nombre de vaches de boucherie dans le Nord de l’Ontario.
